Learn how to play the trumpet - take trumpet lessons in your city. While you may find many books on trumpet playing, it is a difficult instrument to learn and your skill can be readily advanced by seeking a skilled and professional trumpet teacher who can show you proper trumpet techniques such as proper breathing, properly developed sound, fingering, and lip exercises to strengthen the facial muscles involved in trumpet playing.

— S. A. in Longmont, COZ. I picked up the trumpet when I was in 7th grade but by the end of 8th grade other things took priority. Life has flown by since but I always wondered what it would have been like had I not stopped. I love the sound of the trumpet and am curious to know if an old dog can pick up an old trick and make it new again.
My son (9) took band at his elementary school in Raleigh (Underwood). He will be starting a new school in Clayton this fall (Southside Christian). He enjoyed playing trumpet and I am looking for a way to have him continue with what he has learned.
Can you give me information on options you might have? Also, what do you charge for lessons?
E-mail is the best way to reach me
