From the Italian word violincello, the cello is an integral part of standard orchestras, chamber groups, string quartets, and even modern and independent rock. The Cello is one of our favorite instruments. There's simply nothing else that can paint a picture of intense and deep emotion drizzled with an underlying sadness. The cello bow drawn against the strings seems to be able to wrap around the aching heart and understand the heart's most intimate and raw feeling. Have fun taking cello lessons - we're jealous!

I am an adult beginner looking for a teacher who will be direct and patient enough to start at the very beginning.
I received a list of possible teachers from Hans Weisshaar. Once I find a teacher, I plan to rent an instrument from them, unless my teacher has a better suggestion about where to rent an instrument.
My preferred day for lessons is Sunday.

Hope to hear from you soon

My husband and I recently moved to Phoenix and I am hoping to learn the cello. I took lessons 15 years ago for a very brief time but I would definitely say I am a beginner.
My schedule is fairly flexible at this time and I am hoping you have the time to take me on as a student.
for your time
My name is , DBA and I would like to start to learn the Cello. I am a beginner and would like to take classes in-house if possible on week-ends as I am a consultant who travels frequently during the week. The teacher would have to understand that I basically have to work from the bottom up as I have not played any other instrument in my life. I am looking forward to talking to you soon about availability, services and price
— H. F. in Fort Lauderdale, FLI am a beginning adult student and need a patient instructor willing to go over things more than once. I love music and committed to learning. I would prefer to come to the studio for lessons Friday evenings if available :)
— K. M. in Phoenix, AZMy daughter was a member of the orchestra in her 6th grade year of school. She is now a 7th grader and orchestra is not offered, but she wants to continue with her lessons for the cello. Please contact me with information about her receiving lessons and the cost
