I am in my third year as a cello performance major at Arizona State University. I have been playing for the past 13 years, and teaching privately for the past three. I have experience with a wide range of ages and levels. Beginner? Years of experience? I can teach all!

I challenge all my students to be as precise and thorough in practice and performance as possible. With a great attention to detail, I am determined to let all my students become the greatest performers and individuals they can possibly be. I offer a well-rounded education in playing the cello. I teach fundamental technique, grasp of the cello road map, knowledge of repertoire, sight reading, and more.

Even as a teacher, I am always learning from those around me - I teach methods used by former teachers, current teachers, peers, or ones that I have developed myself. I teach using methods I have personally used myself, and found to be effective - I teach what I know works.

What is most important to me as a teach is that I am sensitive to the particular needs and requests of each individual student. I am aware that every person has their own unique learning process, and it is my duty to acknowledge that and use the appropriate teaching language fitted to that individual.
