Three ways to get started
This instructor passed a criminal background check.
I have been playing the piano for over 50 years and teaching for over 10 years.
Music schools attended include Julliard and the Madrid Conservatory of Music.
You can expect a very encouraging attitude on my part, with no pressure on you as a student, but with gentle reminders that it is up to you on how well you are able to advance. The more you practice, the better you will get. There are no miracles, just work at it and have a good time.
Children and adults will be introduced to a methodogy by one of the major publishers, such as Alfred. The use of CD's to play along with the lessons will promote faster learning of the material. These methods are fun and easy to follow. In most cases, I supplement with lessons in music theory (very basic), as well as individual performance pieces which are suitable to your interests.
I use various methods such as Alfred and Faber. I teach classical and pop.
