Music is an art form based on creating, performing and responding where one's enjoyment increases exponentially with one's understanding.

I am a student of music performance with emphasis in Jazz studies Education at University of Bridgeport, Conn. I will be graduating this semester in fall 2008 with a Bachelor of Music degree in elementary music and Jazz Education and have recently completed sixteen weeks of highly successful student teaching in elementary music at guitar workshop elementary school. I studied private lessons in Jazz Guitar, Composition and Class Percussion with Chris Morrison, Chris Coogan, two pioneers in Fairfield county and New York city area, also I studied with Dan Arcamone (Norwalk Music teacher), rhythm and percussion classes with Jeffry Jones (Vic Firth). I taught guitar workshop for all ages at Norwalk YMCA, “Art Explosion”, spring 2007, among other activities                  

My success philosophy is to encourage the students to get more involved in responsibilities, music offers unique learning opportunities to explore individual creativity, artistic expression and a more in-depth understanding of past and present cultures in our diverse world community. I will help students discover themselves and their talent is what it is all about.

Lastly, an education in music and the arts will develop the life-long learning abilities and aesthetic skills necessary to improve the quality of life in a more cultured, educated society.

I provide individualized instruction according to the students age, ability, and interests. Along with Music Theory, Ear Training and Listening Analysis.I emphasize learning to read music using books and plan the lesson in addition to mastering a musical instrument.  I also go over the music lesson repeatedly and obtain music scores, CD's and try to obtain music that the student likes.

My method requires no previous experience and provides an introduction to basic technique and musicianship, with emphasis on Classical, Flamenco, and folk music, including a Blues/Jazz chord system.
