About Me

Music is about expression. I see music, particularly vocal music, as a kind of universal language which brings everyone together. Individually, we all express these emotions in our own unique way. Using the bel-canto technique and utilizing a students own sense of creativity, it brings me great joy to work with a student and watch him/her grow not only as a singer, but as an artist. We each have within us a tremendous capacity to feel, to emote, and to use our diverse backgrounds and life experiences through song.

I teach children and adults of all ages and customize lessons according to a students particular needs and goals.

  • I currently teach in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, New York and also teach out of my studio which is conveniently located in Mid-town, Manhattan.
  • I have extensive experience and involvement in both the Musical Theatre and Operatic worlds. I am a scholarship recipient of both Pacific Opera and West Side Dance Project and am currently involved with a number of musical venues throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
  • I have a Bachelor's Degree from Boston University's School of Music in Vocal Performance.
  • Detailed resume is available upon request.

Lesson Details

My goal is that with each lesson you take, you walk out feeling enlightened.  Considering every student is different, I cater my lessons specifically to your personal and professional needs and goals.  I was schooled in the Bel-canto style and through the core understanding of this technique, I will help you learn the skills necessary to make the most out of your singing capabilities.

I provide you with the tools that you need in order to get the most out of your lessons. My wish and hope is that you will come to lessons on time and practice the material that we learn together so that you make the most out of what you are learning.

Every student is different in how quickly they absorb materials.  The more you practice, the more you will grow as an artist.  I have a lighthearted and at moments, comical approach to my teaching style. Singing should be fun and enjoyable and learning should be a part of that process.
