Originally from Prince Georges County Maryland my musical curiosity began in elementary school it molded me into a performer. By middle school I was already apart of three bands and playing for my local church. Graduating from Suitland High School a Visual and Performing Arts School in Forrestville Maryand, I continued to practice and take lessons and began composition and producing music. With music I recieved the Maryland Distinguished Scholar Award to attend Morgan State University.

Currently I am a  college student at Morgan State University studying Piano music and theory to be a music teachere. While in my final semesters at Morgan, I have experienced teaching, conducting, arranging, performing and composing. I have played the piano for over 12 years. In those years I have played with various bands and small groups such as;Sophisticated Delight, Morgan State Symphonic Band, Morgan State Jazz Enseble and MSU Jazz Combo, The Kings of Harmony, New Covinet Methodist church and Northwood Methodist Church musician just to name a few. Studying with me I can guarantee you success in playing the piano.

I am a pretty nice guy with a great personality. The way I teach makes it seem easy and fun and with practice equals fast growth in understanding the piano. My curriculum is based on the level that I recieve you. If you know a scale or two? lets see it!! and we'll take it from there. If you have any books that you've been working on bring them in because I want to hear what you got! I also inquire about what my students would like to learn the most that way we wont waste any time doing what you don't want to.

For my first time piano players, I will start you off with locating and recognizing the pattern of notes on the keyboard. Also I'll introduce some theory to help you in the future when you begin to count rhythms and notes. You'll be playing with two hands in 3 weeks!!!! So if you are a fun person like me? Then lets impress everyone you know with your piano skills!!!
